From Matsumoto to Kyoto, your luggage will be transported to your hotel while you are travelling by train, and you will need to pack a bag for one night in Tokyo before your luggage arrives
From Nara to Okayama, your luggage will be transported your hotel in Osaka while you are travelling by train, and you will need to pack a bag for two nights in Okayama before your luggage arrives
Note that Japanese Hotels mainly operate on a twin bed basis
Due to the high volume of tourists in Japan, hotel porterage is subject to availability
Hotel rooms in Japan may differ in size from those in the UK and Europe. In more remote places, hotel standards may not be as high as in major centres
On Day 2 depending on group size this experience may be split into two groups between the morning or afternoon
